July 15th

Directed by Kristian Comer

Widower Stanley Stevenson is on his way to celebrate the anniversary of the day he met his deceased wife Clara. Each year he goes back to the same spot, a bench in Washington Square park and eats the same sandwich, hot roast beef, he had that day. When he reaches the bench he finds a woman crying and decides to cheer her up. Between hilarious banter of shared interests of love, food and New York they develop a bond. Revelación

Directed by Juan José Bors

Starting from real events, reason and faith are contrasted throughout a story that moves between homage and parody to religious cinema, interpreted as a peculiar variant of the fantastic genre. The abuse of power and the exploitation of innocence mark the relationships of characters who confront themselves to their contradictions. Adults who manipulate children. Children who manipulate adults. A dark story that is presented to the viewer under a kitsch wrapper, which is part of an irreverent game.
